It is necessary

  • - on-board computer;
  • - cable-wire;
  • - adapter

Instructions

Step 1

To install the computer on Lada Priora and Kalina cars, remove the radio tape recorder from its installation place. Remove the cover marked with OPEN. In the back wall of the cover compartment, drill a round hole with a diameter of 17 mm, or a rectangular hole with a size of 17x10 mm for the cable. When drilling, be very careful not to damage any extraneous wires.

Step 2

Pass the on-board computer cable through the hole. Remove the screws securing the storage compartment. Install the connection adapter into the niche of this compartment, thread the ribbon cable and secure the adapter with the removed screws.

Step 3

Connect the signal loop connector to the connector located on the diagnostics block. Install all previously removed parts and secure them with the standard mount. Put on the detachable panel of the on-board computer.

Step 4

On front-wheel drive cars of the Lada Samara and Lada Samara 2 families, install an on-board computer instead of a plug on the car console. After removing the cover, locate the standard 9-pin computer connector in the niche.

Step 5

Connect the brown wire to socket M of the diagnostic block (for Euro 2 cars) or to socket 7 (for Euro 3 cars). Plug the other end of the brown wire into socket 2 of the on-board computer connector. Look for the diagnostics block in the lower part of the instrument panel near the floor. Plug the blue wire into slot 4 of the computer. Bring the internal temperature sensor under the hood.

Step 6

On VAZ-2108-21099 vehicles, additionally make the following connections. Connect the white wire of the fuel level sensor circuit to the 11th contact of the instrument cluster block or to a pink wire with a red stripe. Orange wire - to the 2nd contact of the ECU block (under the passenger compartment trim near the driver's left leg). Pink wire - to the 3rd contact of the same block.

Step 7

On VAZ-2110-2112 cars, install an on-board computer instead of a clock on the instrument console. To do this, remove the watch and carry out the installation process by analogy with points 4 and 5. Install the temperature sensor in the front bumper so that it is protected from dirt, water, snow and air flow. Secure it with PVC tape.

Step 8

On VAZ cars produced before 2001, there is often no wire from the fuel level sensor. In this situation, connect the 8th pin of the computer connector with the pink wire of the 10th pin of the red block of the instrument cluster.

Step 9

For all types of cars and computers: yellow, red and black wires are used to power the on-board computer. Connect yellow to the gray wire of the ignition switch. Red - to the brown wire of the lock or to the positive terminal of the battery. Black ground wire - to the car body or to the 6th contact of the red block of the instrument cluster.
