It is necessary

  • - drill;
  • - screwdriver;
  • - anti-corrosion agent.

Instructions

Step 1

First, you need to purchase parts that rarely break on serial cars (intake manifold, receiver, gas tank, fuel line, etc.). An excellent option is the installation of a kit consisting of attachments for the cylinder head.

Step 2

Now start disassembling the old gas tank, in the place of which you need to install a new one, while not forgetting to place the electric pump there, and carefully treat the tank plane with an anti-corrosion agent.

Step 3

In the cylinder block, a pair of holes must be applied (for the knock sensor and in order to fix the bracket in the ignition module). Remember, the internal thread must be cut without fail. Drill carefully, while being careful not to flash the block completely, because in this case you will have to purchase a new one. Make a hole 16 millimeters deep for the knock sensor and 20 millimeters for the bracket attachment.

Step 4

Before starting work, it is imperative to drain all the liquid, dismantle the bumper and radiator. Since the knock sensor has a tapered thread, it must be screwed in as far as it will go. Next, change the coolant outlet pipe. If there is a temperature sensor on the plug, then it should be replaced, if not - installed. The most difficult task in this case can be called laying the fuel line, which must be done along the bottom of the body. Try not to do the work alone, especially when doing something as difficult as pushing the return under the steering gear.
