Instructions

Step 1

To change the oil in the gearbox, raise the front of the vehicle with a jack or jack and secure it. Then disconnect the engine splash shield. Pick up a clean rag and wipe off any dirt around the differential cover. Do not forget to prepare a container into which the old oil will drain.

Step 2

Carefully remove the bolts that secure the differential cover. Make sure that loosening occurs evenly. Then drain the engine oil into a container prepared in advance. Use a rag to wipe the surfaces that come in contact with the differential cover and transmission. Replace the cover with a new gasket. Tighten the mounting bolts carefully.

Step 3

Lower the vehicle to the ground and pour new oil into the transmission through the breather hole. To do this, disconnect the breather, which is located on the top of the gearshift mechanism. Do not forget to reinstall it after completing the procedure.

Step 4

To change the engine oil, first start the engine and let the oil warm up. After that, find the drain plug, which is located at the bottom of the pan and place a container under it. Unscrew the plug and let the oil drain, then remove the oil filter and replace it. Remember to fill it with oil before installing a new filter.

Step 5

When all the oil has drained out, return the drain plug to its place and refill with fresh oil. To do this, unscrew the oil filler cap and fill with liquid. Then start the engine and let it run a little. Inspect the filter and drain plug carefully for leaks. Stop the engine and check the oil level, top up if necessary.
