The white dashboard illumination looks good. In order to implement it, it is not at all necessary to spoil the dashboard. It is worth noting that it is quite fragile. First you need to remove the dashboard from the car. Unscrew the 2 self-tapping screws on which the tidy cladding is attached. To do this, you need a short Phillips screwdriver. After unscrewing the screws, do not pull the lining yourself. It is held by 2 snaps. After it is removed from the latches, you need to unscrew the 3 self-tapping screws with the same screwdriver, onto which the dashboard itself is attached.
Step 2
Now you can pull it out. First you need to pull the right edge of the tidy. After pulling back, 1 connector will be visible. It needs to be disconnected. Then you can display the entire dashboard. 2 more connectors will be visible on the left. Note that you can still drive without a dashboard, but not for long. The fact is that the battery will not be charged due to a violation of the warning lamp circuit. The battery may be completely discharged. The wiring must be routed to the left. It should fit neatly onto the steering column. So, the dashboard is removed.
Step 3
On the back of the tidy, unscrew the screws that secure the casing. Disengage the latches and remove it. The glass is held by latches that are located along the entire perimeter of the visor. Take it off
Step 4
As a result, you can notice that in some places there is a strong adherence of the case to the scales. This prevents the backlight from glowing evenly. Solder two displays: automatic transmission indicator and odometer. This is best done with a small 20 W soldering iron. Note, the display is set by six green LEDs. They need to be removed. There are now 6 diode holes on the back of the case. Use wire cutters to remove the jumpers. Cut out a small scarf and try it on in place. All standard lamps must be installed in parallel. That is why the scarf needs to be soldered into holes of different polarity. different polarity. Install white LEDs.
