If your Hyundai Getz does not start, this is most likely caused by the following reasons: either the battery is dead, or the candles are oiled. Both are not scary and are easily put in order. You can do it on your own and do not call for help from car service employees.

Step 1
Quite often you can get into such trouble: you need to go somewhere urgently, and the car will not start. It is not at all necessary to call a tow truck and drive the car to a car service. Do not panic. It's not that bad. You can do it on your own.
To get started, try starting the car several times. It happens that the candles do not give out the required spark and the ignition does not work the first time. If the car tries to start, making a loud noise, or does not react at all, then this means only one thing - your battery is completely discharged.
Step 2
Open the hood and disconnect the battery terminals. Look at the charge level sensor. If the button is lit, then there is a chance to start the car. Otherwise, recharging is indispensable. If the outcome is favorable, you can try to start the starter by hand. Put the terminals back on the battery. Ask passers-by to push your car. After accelerating Getz, squeeze out the clutch and switch to second gear, while simultaneously turning the key in the ignition lock. The car will most likely start. You will successfully cover some distance, but you will not go far with a discharged battery. Therefore, be sure to recharge it at the nearest car service.
Step 3
You can also ask for help from passing cars. Let someone recharge your battery from their own battery, literally two minutes. This is enough to start the car.
Step 4
If the battery level is green, it means that it is charged. Most likely, the reason is different. Due to severe frosts, candles in Hyundai could become oily. Therefore, the car will not start. Proceed as follows: remove the tubes from the candles, having previously marked them with numbers one, two, three and four, in order to put them back in the same order.
Having unscrewed the candles, they need to be wiped well, and then dried over the fire. Then clean them. Leave a gap of about two millimeters, no more. Otherwise, the spark will not reach. Screw the candles back in and put on the tubes. Your car will start without any problems.

If cleaning the candles did not help, it means that they simply burned out. To do this, you need to buy new ones at the nearest auto store, and then replace yours with good ones.
