After buying a trailer for its legal operation, it must be registered with the traffic police. In general, the registration procedure is no different from the registration of any vehicle, with the exception of some details.
It is necessary
- - compulsory insurance policy for the CTP for the trailer;
- - a document certifying the ownership of the trailer.
- - owner's passport;
- - technical passport for the trailer.
Instructions
Step 1
Contact the registration department of the traffic police at your place of residence. Take the Trailer Registration Application Form. Fill out this form according to the sample, which is located on the information boards of the registration authority.
Step 2
In turn, submit the trailer for technical inspection (MOT). The inspector will check the condition of the trailer, after which he will leave an appropriate mark on the passage of MOT on the application. Submit the application and the package of documents proving the ownership in the vehicle registration window.
Step 3
Take a receipt for payment of the trailer registration fee at the traffic police and a receipt for payment of the registration certificate. Pay these fees at the nearest cash desk of any bank.
Step 4
Receive in the window an act of passing MOT and verification of documents, where the inspector put his signature. Remember that these acts are valid for 20 days.
Step 5
