The red cable is usually used to connect the positive terminals, and the black cable is used for the negative. Connect the red cable to the positive pole of one battery and the other. If it failed to start the second time, then wait 15 minutes. During this time, a dead battery must collect enough energy to start the engine. After the car has started, you need to turn off the car, which has a working battery. The engine of the first car needs to be given time to run. During operation, the battery will be charged. After a while (usually no more than five minutes), the battery will be well charged and you can turn off the engine. Remove the crocodiles. Disconnect the negative cable first and then the positive cable. While the cables are not disconnected, make sure that the terminals and non-insulated parts of the cable do not accidentally come into contact with each other.
