To travel by car in foggy weather, in addition to the usual dipped headlights, fog lights are also used. You can install them on your car yourself.
It is necessary
- - two fog lights
- - additional fuse box
- - relay
- - switch block
- - wires of red (plus) and blue (minus) colors
Instructions
Step 1
First, put all the parts in their places (on the car). Then pull the wires. It is not recommended to install more than two fog lamps in the front and more than one in the back of the vehicle.
Disconnect battery power before connecting equipment.
Step 2
Place the relay under the hood of the car in a place convenient for their installation.
Step 3
Pull power to the relay with a red wire, directly from the positive terminal of the generator.
Step 4
Connect the blue wire between the contacts of the ground of the relay with the body, nearby, in the place of its attachment, using terminals of the "eyelet" type.
Step 5
Connect the output power from the relay with the red wire to the fuse box under the hood.
Step 6
From the fuse, run the red wire to the fog lamp, which was previously attached to the bumper of the car. Attach the blue wire from the headlight to the car body.
Step 7
We stretch the free wire from the relay to the switch-on unit, previously installed in the passenger compartment. Connect the second fog lamp in the same sequence.
