Instructions

Step 1

Prepare 8 and 10 socket wrenches in advance for work. You will also need flat and Phillips screwdrivers.

Step 2

Get to work. First, disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery. You need to remove the steering wheel. Unscrew the steering column trim. Remove all steering column switches.

Step 3

Unscrew and remove the floor tunnel liner. You can start removing the instrument cluster. It is recommended to mark all wires that fit to it. Next, remove the screws on the left and right that secure the center console to the dashboard. Pry up with a screwdriver and remove the side window heating nozzles.

Step 4

Take a 10 socket wrench in your hands and unscrew the two nuts of the upper fastening of the instrument panel with it. The fuse box cover is held in place by three clips. Click on them and pull out the block. Then, remove the screws that secure the dashboard amplifier. Take it out.

Step 5

To the left of the steering column is the instrument panel mounting screw. Using a key 8, unscrew the bolt securing the "ground" wires. Slide the wiring locks to the right. Disconnect the three pads of the harness from the pads that are installed on the bracket.

Step 6

Next, you need to disconnect the ignition switch wiring harness block. Using a 10 key, unscrew the nut securing the "ground" wire of the instrument panel harness from the bracket of the electronic blocks. The pad lock must be moved slightly. Disconnect the instrument panel harness from the ignition harness. If there is an electrical accessory, then disconnect the harness block that goes to this unit. Slide the latch and disconnect the block from the block that is responsible for the airbag. It remains only to carefully remove the dashboard and remove it from the car. It is best to do this with two people, since the panel has a decent weight.
