Dimensions, or side lights, is the lighting device of a car for its designation while driving in low visibility, fog, in the evening.

Instructions
Step 1
Dimensions can be in the form of a separate lamp, as well as as part of a headlamp unit. The front lights are white and the rear lights are red. They are installed in pairs on the same line, on both sides of the vehicle. Russian traffic rules oblige on unlit sections of the road, in the dark, when parking or stopping the car, to use the parking lights. When visibility is insufficient, include fog lights or dipped beam headlights together with the dimensions.
Step 2
To enable the dimensions, there are special buttons located either to the left or to the right of the steering wheel (depending on the modification of the vehicle). These buttons cannot be confused with others, because special characters are displayed on them.
Step 3
On imported cars, the dimensions are turned on by means of a lever located to the right or left of the steering wheel, depending on the location of the steering wheel: if the steering wheel is on the right, then the lever is on the right, and vice versa, the steering wheel is on the left, and the lever is on the left. Turn the tip on the lever to include the dimensions.
Step 4
When you install the "Automatic side lights switch" on your vehicle, you will be able to control how they turn on and off, thereby protecting the battery from discharging.
Step 5
Connect this device to your car (perform the actions with the engine off), to do this, remove the dimensions terminal from the block of the standard body responsible for lighting in the vehicle using an awl. In this place, put the relay terminal located on the pink or red wire and of the appropriate dimension. Cut off the second terminal (to avoid shorting).
Step 6
Connect the removed terminal to the blue or green wire of the relay, then remove the remaining pin.
Step 7
Connect the Ignition and Ground wires to the mechanism. Start the device.
