Most often, yellow icons tell the car owner about the need for service, replacement of consumables or malfunctions.

A car with an image of a vertical wrench indicates a problem with the engine or transmission electronics. The real reason will be named in the service. But without a complete diagnosis of the car, this problem cannot be resolved. A similar indicator, but with an exclamation mark instead of a wrench, appears on hybrid panels of hybrid vehicles and warns of damage to the electric drive. "Rebooting" the car systems by removing the terminals from the battery will not help, only diagnostics.
A slippery road indicator appears when this system detects areas with slippery surfaces. It activates and assists the driver. But if a key or a triangle lights up next to such an icon, it is worth checking the vehicle stabilization system.
Yellow wrench - this indicator informs about the need for maintenance. After THAT, the message is discarded.
The appearance of a yellow steering wheel on the panel indicates the need for adaptation. But if the steering wheel "turns red", then it is most likely faulty. Difficulty turning can confirm the suspicion of a broken steering wheel. It's not worth joking with this, urgent repairs are needed.
The washer icon also lights up in several cases: when there is an insufficient amount of washer fluid in the reservoir, when the sensor is clogged or the composition of the washer is inappropriate. If there is no doubt about the quality and quantity of liquid, then it is worth cleaning the contacts of the level sensor.
ASR letters - signal of a faulty traction control system. It looks different on different brands: letters, a yellow triangle with an arrow or a sliding car.
A rapid drop in engine power can be accompanied by the appearance of a catalyst icon on the panel. This is a signal that the catalytic element has overheated. If a high fuel consumption has been added to the icon, then the catalyst is out of order.
The engine icon, or, as it is called in another way, the injector icon, lights up in case of engine malfunctions. Computer diagnostics will help to identify the true cause of the appearance of such an icon.
