The need to replace the chain arises when it breaks. This is due to an increase in the gap between it and the stopper or as a result of a violation of the adjustment of the chain tension.

Necessary

  • - kerosene
  • - spanners
  • - new chain
  • - oil
  • - sealant

Instructions

Step 1

Raise the hood. Determine where the reverse control lever is attached to the gearbox reverse control lever. Unscrew the nut of the bolt of this mount. Remove the bolt, move the reverse control lever.

Step 2

Then unscrew the bottom cap bolt and free the transmission from the oil, draining it completely. Unscrew the fastening nuts of the semi-cases.

Step 3

Remove the bolt securing the right half-crankcase with the intermediate sprocket axle. Dismantle the right half-crankcase. Unscrew the lock nut at the thread tension bolt. Remove the bolt to release the tension on the chain. Carefully remove the chain from the sprockets.

Step 4

After cleaning the transmission and checking its condition, put on a new chain and tension it. Screw in the tension bolt as far as it will go. Then, after loosening the bolt two turns, lock it with the nut.

Step 5

Degrease the detachable part of the left half-crankcase with nefras and apply sealant to it. Install the O-ring on the sealant-coated split part. Install the right half-carter onto the left half-carter studs. At the same time, ensure a tight connection on the connector.

Step 6

Tilt the shift lever to check that the gear moves along the drive shaft splines and meshes with the gear. Screw the bolt into the axle, placing a ring under its head. Screw on the studs and tighten the nuts. Install the plug-bolt into the upper hole of the half-crankcase by placing a gasket.

Step 7

Check transmission for leaks. This should be done six (or more) hours after applying the sealant to the connector plane. Coat the connector with chalk solution. Pour kerosene through the transmission filler hole. Pour it until it comes out through the drive shaft bearing. Within five minutes, check that there is no kerosene leakage through the box connector. Then drain it.

Step 8

Connect the transmission reverse shift lever to the reverse control lever by tightening the bolt. Check the reverse shift, which should be done by turning its handle. If necessary, adjust the lever with its pin. Fill the box with oil and lower the hood.
