On August 10, from the main campus of the Far Eastern Federal University, a motor rally entitled “Russian statehood: our people, our Russia” started, organized by a teacher and scientists from the Far East. This journey, more than 10 thousand kilometers long, will pass through 23 regions of the country, where participants are going to visit the most significant scientific centers and universities in Russia. The end point of the route will be the city of St. Petersburg.

The main purpose of the "scientific" car rally is to attract the attention of investors, businessmen and ordinary people to new technical ideas and inventions made by Russian scientists. That, perhaps, can help Russian science. The first point of the route was, of course, the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University, located on the Russian Island, which today is an important state project. And the university itself occupies a central position in the field of scientific technologies and innovations of the Far East.

During the route from Vladivostok to St. Petersburg, the rally participants will visit the country's scientific centers, the latest laboratories, will be able to evaluate innovative developments and get acquainted with scientists and inventors of Russian universities. The rally involves 12 people, accommodated in three minibuses.

Such a long trip was sponsored by well-known entrepreneurs and scientists of the northern capital and the Far East, as well as the popular science magazine "Machines and Mechanisms" published in St. Petersburg, on the pages of which photos, information and impressions of the participants from the trip will be posted. After the start in Vladivostok, the next point of the trip was the city of Khabarovsk, where the participants also met with the military of the city.
