What are the advantages of a door closer?
Comfort is the key to a pleasant movement and pastime in the car, but since the closer is designed to help in this - in fact, this is its main advantage. It will be especially useful for forgetful people who do not always raise open windows when leaving the car. The closer is also very convenient for convertible owners. Not all convertibles have access to raising the roof using a button on the alarm key fob. Basically, the roof button is located on the dashboard above the windshield. Therefore, if you did not raise the roof, and it suddenly started raining outside, the closer will close it and raise the windows.
Closer disadvantages
A small inconvenience a closer can provide in the summer. When it's hot outside, car owners often leave the windows slightly ajar on purpose so that the car interior cools down faster. With a closer, such a manipulation will not work. But this is more a specificity of work than a disadvantage. Also, problems with the closer can arise in winter. Since the electronic door closer sensor is installed in the doors of the car, at subzero temperatures (from -15), it starts to junk, so there may be problems with sudden glass openings due to the freezing of the sensor. Therefore, you should be especially careful in the winter.
