The purchase and sale of a car is regulated by the Civil Code of the Russian Federation. To complete it, you must draw up a contract. It should take into account the general provisions. The car sales contract can be drawn up manually.

Step 1
Such a contract usually contains several sections. The first is the Preamble section. It must contain the names of organizations and details of the parties. If the agreement is drawn up between individuals, then the names of the participants in the transaction, as well as their home addresses and telephones, must be indicated. After that, the section "Subject of the contract" is filled in. First of all, it should indicate the nature of the relationship between the parties to the contract, that is, the purchase and sale of a car. The identification data of the machine must be specified. After that, the parties can proceed to filling out the remaining sections, such as "Rights and obligations of the parties", "Settlement procedure", "Details of the parties" and others.
Step 2
The contract can be drawn up in another way. At the top of the sheet, the name of the document is first indicated. The next line indicates the date and place where the contract was drawn up.
Step 3
After that, you can proceed to the main text. In the first paragraph, indicate the seller's data, namely full name, date of birth, passport series and number, registration address. The customer data is filled in in the same way. Then you need to write down data about the subject of the contract. In this section, indicate the make, body color, year of manufacture, type and category of the vehicle. Also, do not forget about the engine number.
Step 4
The buyer, after familiarizing himself with the technical condition of the vehicle, must sign below the main text.
Step 5
The contract must be drawn up in triplicate. One copy must remain with the parties, and the third must be given to the traffic police at the place of registration of the car. You can separately draw up an act of acceptance and transfer of the car, as well as cash. Please note that a note must be made in the contract for this act. You can do without the act - in this case, add one more clause to the contract, which will stipulate that the seller received money from the buyer, and the buyer received the car.
