The number of old cars in our country is increasing every year. In this regard, the Government has developed a bill, which established the procedure for the disposal of such machines. In accordance with it, each owner who handed over a car produced before 1999 has the right to receive a certificate for 50 thousand rubles, which can be used to buy a new car from the approved list.
In order to hand over a car for recycling, you need to go through a certain procedure. First, you need to come to an official dealer who collects cars for recycling. You can also use the services of a tow truck if the technical condition of the car does not allow it to be operated.
After that, you need to obtain a recycling certificate form and issue a power of attorney from the dealer to perform operations for deregistration, transfer to a recycling point and obtaining a recycling certificate. In addition, you will need to sign an agreement under which the dealer will perform the specified operations on your behalf. At the same time, according to the contract, the car will be kept in custody by the dealer until it is removed from the register and received a certificate of disposal.
The disposal procedure is paid, its cost is 3000 rubles. After you pay for it, you can choose and reserve your favorite car with a dealer. It must comply with the list approved by the Government. When you have the completed recycling certificate in your hands, you can complete the registration of the new car.
Please note that the car handed over for scrapping must be produced in 1999 and earlier, have a permitted gross weight of no more than 3.5 tons, be complete and be owned by the owner for at least 1 year.
You can buy cars that are manufactured in Russia. These are traditional Russian brands: VAZ, GAZ, UAZ, Lada and brands of foreign manufacturers that produce cars in our country, as well as those cars for which manufacturers have entered full-scale production. The list of such cars corresponds to the list of cars that can be purchased on terms of preferential loans.
