Step 1
Find the problem first. If the fan is running but blowing cold air, touch the pipes from the radiator to the stove. If one tube is cold and the other is hot, water circulation is disturbed. If both are hot, air circulation is impaired. In this case, the engine should be well warmed up. Make sure that the faucet of the stove is open and that the rods that drive it are working.

Make sure the cooling system is sufficiently filled with fluid. Top it up to the edge of the radiator neck and sharply lower the gas pedal several times. Step 5
Make sure that the heating system dampers move from one extreme position to another without jamming. Make sure that the dampers themselves are not cracked, and that the rods of their drives are in good order. Also check the heater radiator: after the summer period of operation, it can be clogged with various kinds of debris.
Step 6
If the stove fan does not work, disassemble the heating system and check the health of the fan impeller and the operability of the stove motor. Replace broken parts and assemblies. If you find a breakdown of the motor, do not rush to throw it away. Check if power is supplied to its terminals. Often the cause of fan failure can be a malfunction of the control system or a simple break in the supply wire.
Step 7
Locate the vents in the interior of your vehicle. As a rule, they are located on the doors. If they are clogged, increased pressure may build up in the passenger compartment during the operation of the stove. It can also be a serious obstacle to the flow of warm air into the passenger compartment. Clean the vents or get into the habit of opening windows slightly, turning on the heating.
