Recently, many complete sets of manufactured cars are equipped with standard on-board computers. They allow online monitoring of machine systems. But not all owners like this gadget imposed by AvtoVAZ. This computer can be removed without visiting a car service.

Instructions
Step 1
Read your vehicle manual carefully. It should contain detailed instructions for dismantling the on-board computer and its operation. If you do not have a manual, then visit the forum dedicated to your VAZ model. There you can find detailed information and reviews of those who have already removed the on-board computer.
Step 2
Please consult with the dealer where you bought your car about the warranty. Some car dealerships void buyers of the warranty for self-removal of pre-installed equipment.
Step 3
On VAZ cars of the tenth family and Priors, to remove the computer, you must first dismantle the radio tape recorder. To do this, open the hood and remove the negative terminal from the battery. This will de-energize the on-board power supply system and eliminate the possibility of a short circuit.
Step 4
Remove the outer panel of the radio by pressing the open button. There are four holes at the end of the radio. Insert special keys into them and press them all the way.
Step 5
Pull the radio casing towards you. Pull the entire radio out towards you completely. Carefully detach all wire connectors from the rear. Put your hand into the hole in which the radio tape recorder stood, feel the mounts from the back of the on-board computer unit, carefully open them and press on the case itself.
Step 6
Take the on-board computer out of the groove, disconnect all wires from the back. If you do not plan to install a new sideboard, then connect all the wiring to connect it with a plastic harness, and close the hole with a standard plastic plug.
Step 7
Remove any additional devices that have been connected to the on-board computer. For example, an antenna and an additional monitor. Connect the radio tape recorder and install it in its original place in the reverse order.
