If one of the speakers of the audio system in your car begins to give out strong interference or even fails, do not rush to go to the service center, because on many cars you can replace the speaker yourself.
Instructions
Step 1
The first step is to select a new speaker. If your car is equipped with standard acoustics, then you can find the technical characteristics of the audio system in the instructions for the car or on the club forum of the car owners of your model. If the audio system was installed instead of the standard one, then you can find out the parameters only by removing the old speaker.
Step 2
Most often, speakers that are installed in door trims fail. Replacing these speakers requires removing the casing. To do this without damaging the door trim and its fasteners, read any available interior repair instructions. Such information can be obtained both in the book on repairing your car model, and on the mentioned thematic forum on the Internet.
Step 3
Once you reach the speaker, unscrew it from the door with a screwdriver, and then disconnect the wires. They should be insulated so that the contacts do not close together or on the body. After that, you need to connect the wires to the new speaker, observing the polarity. The corresponding markings are always marked on the speaker housing.
Step 4
Test the new speaker by turning on the audio system. Now you can put the speaker back in place and reassemble the casing in the reverse order.
