Step 1
Prepare the necessary tools for the job. To do this, you will need a variety of screwdrivers, a drill or screwdriver with attachments, a wire crimper, a soldering iron, pliers, and other tools that may be useful to you.
Step 2
First, decide where to install the speaker. The easiest and fastest way is to place them in the doors. This procedure does not require special professionalism and is performed independently by one person. Please read the instructions carefully, which details the procedure for correct speaker installation.
Step 3
Carefully remove the door trim and remove any unnecessary parts and debris underneath. If the speakers were already installed in the car, then remove them and replace the wiring. If it is in normal condition, then its replacement can be omitted. Then glue the speaker frame. If there is no glue in the kit, then get a regular super glue, which is quite suitable for this procedure.
Step 4
Place the speaker in the frame and check that it is securely attached. Make sure you screw it down carefully. Get busy connecting new wires. To do this, connect the positive lead of the installed speaker to the positive connector of the vehicle wiring harness. Follow the same procedure with the negative wire. All connections are made using soldering or special connectors.
Step 5
Make sure the wires are properly connected to the radio or receiver. Carefully check that all connections are secure and that there are no exposed areas on the wiring. If you find defects, try to eliminate them immediately. After completing all the work, check the sound of the speaker and its operation in different modes of music playback.
