Only after reducing the pressure in the system, you can start repairing or replacing the pump.

Now you need to disconnect the block with wires from it, as well as two tubes. Different vehicles have used different tube fixation methods. Some use plastic fittings, while others use tubing clamps.
And now it only remains to remove the ring securing the pump housing, or unscrew the fastening nuts. Depends on which fastening method is used in a particular vehicle. And the last thing is to remove the pump with the level sensor, and then install a new one. The procedure is quite simple, so it's easy to carry out it at home, you don't have to go to the service. If, of course, you do not want to get your hands dirty, you have little free time, but at the same time you are not constrained in finances, then give preference to a service where all the work will be done to you efficiently and on time.
