Every car has an oil meter. This device signals through which section of the path it will need to be replaced. Every time you change the oil, you need to reset the flow meter.
Instructions
Step 1
To reset the oil meter, you need to perform the following operations. Turn on the ignition, then press the button located on the odometer: press the button until the first position appears, that is, for about ten seconds. Remember: changing position is achieved by repeatedly pressing this button.
Step 2
Select the desired position, for example "Oil". After that, discard the oil service interval, press the button on the counter (press for three seconds): the question “Reset?” Should appear. To confirm zeroing, press the button on the counter for three seconds.
Step 3
After the performed procedure, turn off the ignition and check if the counter has cleared.
Step 4
Please note that resetting the counter is possible only if the resource of positions is less than 80%. Otherwise, the counter reset procedure can only be carried out using a special diagnostic system. The impossibility of zeroing, that is, blocking of this function is indicated by the OK message in the menu.
Step 5
Remember: the zeroing procedure can only be carried out after the vehicle has been serviced. When resetting the maintenance items, check the calendar settings, that is, the on-board date. This date is the basis for determining when the next maintenance is to be performed.
Step 6
Pay attention to one more thing: the position "Brake pads" is reset to zero only if the brake pad status sensor is worn out.
