Carry out the diagnostics carefully and if you notice any malfunctions, try to eliminate them as soon as possible. Overhauling or even replacing the engine will cost you much more than replacing some parts.

Remove the spark plugs and inspect them carefully. Candles can vary in color from yellowish straw to dark brown. However, if you notice a black coating on their surface, it's time to contact a service center. As a rule, a velvety black coating on the spark plugs indicates a malfunction of the fuel system.
Step 3
Inspect the threads on the spark plugs. If they have oil on them, then the valve seals may need to be replaced. If, during the operation of the car, oil particles enter the engine, this can lead to accelerated wear and a relatively quick engine failure.
Step 4
Check the engine mountings. It is they who provide strong fixation of the internal combustion engine and reliable interaction with the gearbox. If the engine is not firmly fixed, it is recommended to fix it as soon as possible. The need to replace the mounting pads in some cases is indicated by jerks and jerks that occur when the car starts to move.
Step 5
When inspecting, pay attention to the degree of wear of the engine parts. Remember that the alarms are extraneous noise and strong vibrations of the engine during its operation, a noticeably increased fuel and oil consumption, too little compression. If you find whole puddles of oil under the car, urgently engage in engine repair and replacement of faulty parts.
Step 6
Try computer diagnostics of the engine. Thanks to a special device, you can assess the condition of the car parts and find faults. Computer diagnostics are most often carried out in service centers, although if you have a special device, you can do it yourself.
