A power of attorney for the right to drive a car is a document that allows third parties to use a car with the permission of its owner. There are several types of powers of attorney: a simple written form and a general power of attorney.

Step 1
A simple written form of power of attorney is filled in by the owner of the car and confirmed by his signature. To fill out the power of attorney, you will need the passports of the owner of the car and the person to whom the car is entrusted, as well as a vehicle registration certificate and a vehicle passport. The power of attorney can be drawn up on a piece of paper or on a specially purchased form.
Step 2
A power of attorney for a car may include the following: the right to drive a car, undergo a technical inspection, change the data of a technical passport, make any repairs, repaint, travel abroad, insurance, deregistration, registration and sale. All these actions must be spelled out in the power of attorney, if necessary. Also, a power of attorney can be issued not for all these actions, but only for their part.
Step 3
An example of filling out a power of attorney. In the title of the document, write "Power of attorney for the right to dispose of the vehicle." The next line: city, region or region and the date of issue of the power of attorney.
Step 4
The text of the power of attorney: "I, (name of the owner), residing at the address (address of the owner of the car, series and number of the passport, where, by whom and when the passport was issued)".

Then write: “I trust (the name of the person who is entrusted with the car, the series and number of the passport of the person where, by whom and when the passport was issued to the person who is entrusted with the car) to drive and use the vehicle belonging to me in my absence, monitor the technical condition of the vehicle, be my representative in the traffic police and take actions related to the implementation of this order, without the right to sell the specified vehicle."
Step 6
Next, write the car data: vehicle (manufacturer, for example VAZ), make (car make, for example 2106), year of manufacture, car engine number, car body number, car chassis number, car color, state registration plate of the car, series and passport number car. At the end, indicate the traffic police department that issued the car passport.
Step 7
Then indicate the validity period of the power of attorney (maximum one year). End the power of attorney with the words: "The powers of this power of attorney cannot be transferred to third parties." Please sign and date it.
