Step 1
Choose a location for installing the garage on the site. In order to easily put the car in the garage, it is better to choose its dimensions at least 6x3, 5 m. Plan the location of the workbench, shelves for storing tools, places for garden and sports equipment.
Step 2
Dig a trench to install the foundation. Make a formwork, install piles in it and fill the formwork with concrete.
Step 3
Start the installation of the garage frame on the foundation piles with the assembly of the lower trim. Fix the bearing racks at a distance of 1.5-2 m. Fasten the top harness on top of the racks. Install struts in the corners of the frame to give it spatial rigidity. Provide places for installing gates and windows.
Step 4
Cover the inside of the garage with drywall. Use clapboard to cover the outside of the garage. The outer sheathing is mounted with overlapping vertical and horizontal joints. Use mineral wool boards or sawdust to insulate the garage.
Step 5
Create a wooden roof sheathing. Place roofing felt on the crate. Lay slate on roofing material. Equip a spillway made of a plastic sewer pipe cut in half.
Step 6
Install the garage door frame 2.5 m wide and 1.8-2 m high so that it allows the door to move freely. Hang the sash on the hinges and check for ease of movement.
Step 7
Dig an inspection hole in the garage with a width equal to the distance between the wheels of the car, and a length equal to the length of the car. The optimum depth for convenient car repair is considered to be a depth of 1.8 m. Equip the pit with a cover. Lay gravel at the bottom of the pit and fill it with concrete. Make the formwork, fill the space between the formwork and the walls with concrete.
Step 8
Tamp down the soil before laying the floor and lay the reinforcement mesh on the floor. Pour the concrete floor at a distance of 20 cm from the ground to prevent rainwater from entering the garage.
