There is a lot of work to be done to successfully pass the flyover test. To pass the overpass, you need to master all the driving skills, because you will have to apply them all at once. Let's see what the success of the exam consists of.
Instructions
Step 1
Before you learn how to climb a hill, namely, an overpass imitates it, you need to be able to get under way, follow the tachometer reading, and use the handbrake. Starting a car with a manual transmission always causes a lot of difficulties. Although the point here is not at all in the ability to shift the gearbox, but in the feeling of the gas and clutch pedals. Overexposure of the clutch, or vice versa, earlier push-ups, always leads to the fact that the engine stalls. The accelerator and clutch pedals work counter to each other. By pressing the gas, you begin to release the clutch. How much gas you pressed, so much clutch and release. There are cars with a high-speed engine (cars with a small engine displacement, but high torque), in which a little more gas must be given.
Step 2
Learn to pull off smoothly, but quickly and without slipping. When going uphill, the car's rollback should be minimal. To pass the exam on the flyover, you need to use the hand brake. First, learn to pull off with the handbrake on a flat road. A common mistake newbies make is to release the handbrake before the car starts to move. And even more so, you cannot let go of the handbrake before you have included the first gear.
Step 3
Another common mistake on overpass is improper braking. You need to enter the overpass, stop on the rise and fix the car. To do this, press the brake while holding the pedal, depress the clutch pedal and shift the first gear to neutral, depress the clutch pedal. Then pull the handbrake lever until it stops. And you perform all these actions by depressing the brake. To release the brake pedal after you have pulled on the "handbrake", you need to be very careful. If you feel that the car has started to roll back, then the "handbrake" is not fully pulled. Quickly depress the brake pedal and tighten the lever even more.
