It is necessary

  • - Phillips screwdriver;
  • - slotted screwdriver;
  • - head to "10";
  • - a container with a volume of at least 6 liters;
  • - spanner key for "10";
  • - head to "8";
  • - head for "8" with an extension.

Instructions

Step 1

Remove the engine protection if you have one. To do this, on the left and right sides of the engine protection, unscrew the two self-tapping screws that secure the protection to the mudguards of the engine compartment. Then, using the “10” head, unscrew the two bolts of the rear mounting of the engine protection. Now, holding the protection, turn off the five nuts of the front fastening of the engine protection with the head on "10" and remove it.

Disconnect the wire terminal from the negative terminal of the storage battery.

Step 2

Unscrew the expansion tank cap and place a container with a volume of at least 6 liters under the drain hole made in the lower part of the right radiator tank. Unscrew the radiator drain plug by hand and drain the coolant into a container.

Step 3

Proceed to remove the air filter. Disconnect the ECM wires from the MAF sensor.

Step 4

After loosening the fastening clamp, remove the air supply hose to the throttle assembly from the mass air flow sensor branch pipe. Remove the air intake sleeve from the nipple at the bottom of the air filter housing. Prying the caps of the filter housing supports with a slotted screwdriver in turn, remove them from the mounting holes. Remove the air filter.

Step 5

Unbutton or cut the clamp holding the ECM wires to the blower motor wires and disconnect the ECM wiring connector from the blower motor wiring connector.

Step 6

Using the “10” head, unscrew the nut of the upper fastening of the fan casing to the radiator and two bolts of the side fastening.

Step 7

Unscrew the nut of the lower fastening of the fan casing to the radiator with a spanner wrench “10”. Remove the fan shroud with impeller from the radiator studs by turning the shroud so that the lugs of its side mounting are on top.

Step 8

Using the “8” head, loosen the clamp of the radiator inlet hose and remove the inlet hose from the radiator branch pipe.

Using the head on "8" with an extension, loosen the clamp of the radiator outlet hose and remove the outlet hose from the radiator branch pipe.

Step 9

Then, using the head on "10", unscrew the two nuts securing the radiator to the upper cross member of the radiator frame. With the radiator tilted towards the engine, use a slotted screwdriver to loosen the band clamp securing the steam hose and remove it from the radiator pipe.

Step 10

Remove the radiator by removing the pins of its lower mounting from the rubber cushions. Install the new radiator in reverse order.
