Removing an external rear-view mirror Ford Focus Open the door and lower the glass. Remove the handle installed on the adjustment arm. Carefully remove the insert located on the car door corner trim. Carefully peel the foil off the door to give you easy access to the electrical connectors.
Step 3
Move the trim slightly to the side and locate the wiring harness block. Disconnect the outside mirror wires from the trim and remove it.
Step 4
Disconnect the block. To do this, squeeze the clips on the outside mirror wiring harness.
Step 5
Loosen the mounting bolts slightly and remove the regulator knob located on the plate. Remove the seal together with the special ring.
Step 6
Loosen the screws securing the outside mirror one by one. Carefully pull the hook located on the base of the mirror out of the hole in the door panel. Dismantle the mirror.
Step 7
