A manual transmission causes difficulties already in the first stages of driving training. If you shift the gears correctly in your car, then you are one step closer to extending engine life. You need a clutch pedal to change gears, but there are times when you need to do without it.
Instructions
Step 1
Of course, if you are using an automatic transmission (automatic transmission), many things become simpler: the clutch pedal is not needed, the shift lever is also not needed. However, the widespread robotic gearbox is characterized by some "thoughtfulness" and can play a disservice at the moment when you need to pick up speed, for example, when overtaking. If you pressed the gas, and the tachometer needle stopped, the speed does not switch - quickly release the gas and press again several times with forward movements. Downshifting is accomplished by throttle release and generally does not cause difficulty or interference. Those who love sporty driving try to choose a car with a gearbox with a sport mode (tiptronik).
Step 2
When you are using a manual transmission (manual transmission) and are driving, for example, in second speed, in order to upshift (third), you need to engage in neutral. To do this, release the throttle for a while (about two seconds) and move the speed lever to the neutral position. Next, engage the next gear, while keeping the lever tense. And as soon as the engine speed coincides with the speed of the gears, the gear will engage. In this way, shifting to any overdrive is performed in any mode of transport with a manual transmission.
Step 3
If you are driving at fourth speed and you need to shift to third (manual transmission), you must also release the throttle (for a few seconds) and shift into neutral. Next, make a "rebase" and at the same time turn on the lower (third gear). Thus, a downshift is performed in any type of transport with a manual transmission.
Step 4
Such methods are not recommended for beginners unnecessarily, since without a certain level of training and the so-called "feeling of the engine" they can lead to a breakdown of the manual transmission. You may need to follow the advice above in the event of a clutch malfunction.
