Car polishing is a simple process that is easy to master yourself. Polishing allows you to protect the car from the harmful effects of the external environment, extend its service life, and improve its appearance. If you master this process, then it will still allow you to reduce the monetary costs of maintaining the car.
There are two types of polishing:
1. Protective - should be carried out twice a year: before the onset of summer to protect against heat, and before the cold season - to protect against frost. This is also due to the fact that high-quality polishes protect the car for about six months and, more often than not, protective polishing is therefore impractical. Such polishing is intended for cars with fresh paint, i.e. for a period of 3 years.
2. Recovery is a complex process that is better not to be done on your own. This kind of polishing is necessary to fix small cracks and chips on the car. During restorative polishing, abrasives are used, therefore, it is better to use it twice for the entire service life of the paintwork, since the paint is constantly removed during such polishing.
Protective polishing technology. First of all, you need to wash the car using special shampoos, let it dry or wipe it dry. After that, it is necessary to remove traces of insects, treat strong chips or stains with a special marker.
To make the polish fit better and more reliably on the surface, you should thoroughly degrease the surface of the car using special products. After carrying out these preparatory procedures, the car will look newer and fresher. In order to degrease the surface, it is necessary to shake the agent, apply it to conditional areas (it is better to divide the roof into 4) and grind the agent with a flannel cloth.
According to the same principle, polishing is carried out, the car is also divided into sections, polish is applied to the surface from a spray can, it is spread over the surface with a sponge, after two minutes you can start polishing, i.e. rubbing polish in a circular motion over the surface using polishing napkins. Polish until the surface is covered with a shiny film.
