AvtoVAZ is a large Russian car manufacturer. It has a long history and is the heir to the Soviet "VAZ". The headquarters of the concern is located in the city of Togliatti, Samara region.
In early September, the Moscow Motor Show was held, where AvtoVAZ presented its new products. Lada Granta "Lux" and Lada Granta Sport. For Lada Granta "Lux" the price has not yet been determined, but Lada Granta Sport will cost at least 400,000 rubles. The start of sales is planned for autumn 2012. New models will delight with an automatic transmission and a media system with touch control. The sports modification will be the fastest car of AvtoVAZ. Lada Largus is already on sale, its price starts at 319,000 rubles. It is presented in two modifications: a station wagon and a van with a cargo compartment. This car has no analogues in the domestic market. Also, the conveyor line was specially modernized for him. Lada Kalina of the second generation is expected not earlier than 2013, and its price is still unknown. The car will become more modern. There will be a heated windshield, parking sensors, a rain sensor and a navigator. It will be possible to purchase two modifications, a hatchback and a station wagon. Lada XRay is a crossover that is very much awaited. So far, everything is only in the project, nothing is known about the technical characteristics and it is too early to talk about mass production. The good news is that AvtoVAZ has taken a step towards creating a new production line. Externally, the car will have an ultra-modern design that is in no way inferior to foreign counterparts. Lada Ellada will be put into production in autumn 2012. This electric car will be the first domestic car of its kind, because the Yo-mobile is still in the project. It is clear that the car will not be cheap, and perhaps its price will reach 1 million rubles. Maximum speed 130 km / h, travel distance 150 km. It remains to wait until our country will have charging points for electric vehicles. In general, a pleasant update to the lineup is expected. Considering that such a popular "seven" has been discontinued this year.
