During the operation of the car, small dents and deformations often appear, which greatly spoil the appearance. Body repair in an official service is very expensive, so it is more advisable to remove the damage on your own.

Instructions
Step 1
Find a place where you will be doing car repairs. It is not recommended to fix dents on the street. A garage is best suited for this purpose. If it is absent, you can contact the employees of the nearest service with a request to put the car in the box during the lunch break. Half an hour or an hour is enough to remove a minor dent. Make sure you have a bright portable light source.
Step 2
Inspect the damage from all sides. This will allow you to understand how much the metal is deformed. A small dent can be repaired without painting, but the paintwork should not be damaged. To do this, thoroughly wash the surface of the car and wipe it dry with a cloth. Take a building hair dryer, set the air power just above the minimum. Heat the metal on the damaged area in smooth circular motions.
Step 3
Take a can of compressed air and spray the contents evenly onto the heated surface. When cold air comes into contact with a heated surface, the metal will begin to take on its original state. Repeat this procedure until the dent is completely gone. Wipe the straightened area thoroughly and make sure it is intact.
Step 4
Use a suction cup if you don't have compressed air or a hair dryer. Gently straighten the metal with it, starting at the edges of the dent. Move smoothly towards the center. Straighten the metal in the middle of the dent with one last stroke.
Step 5
Get a set of special hooks. With their help, you can straighten the metal. To do this, you need to push the hook into the technical opening of the body closest to the dent and press on the deformed place from the back side, thereby forcing it to take its original position.
Step 6
Examine the paint where the dent was. If the paint has flown off or is broken, painting is indispensable. Give the metal its original shape using the above methods. Wash the surface thoroughly. Degrease it. If desired, you can remove old paint using special chemicals. Apply a coat of primer. It should be as thin as possible. Then degrease the surface again. Next, apply one or two coats of paint. Wait ten minutes and apply a coat of varnish. Let the surface dry.
