Recovering a lost driver's card is not a pleasant experience. But if such a situation has developed for objective reasons, then the restoration should not be postponed. You should start taking action immediately.
Instructions
Step 1
In case of its theft or illegal seizure, you must apply to the police station at the scene of the crime. In ten days you should be given a decree. It is worthwhile to immediately understand that for a simplified version of the restoration of a driver's license, it is in your interests to achieve the initiation of a criminal case. Therefore, it is important to indicate in the application that it was theft, kidnapping or other illegal act against you. The decision to refuse to initiate a criminal case in any case will not affect the further course of the restoration of the document.
Step 2
Contact the district traffic police department at the place of personal registration and get a certificate stating that the driver's license has not been withdrawn. Also, in the same branch, you need to make sure that all currently existing fines have been paid.
Step 3
Get all the necessary documents from the traffic police and go to the MREO. You need to immediately check the availability of a medical certificate, whether it has expired or not. If it came out, then it will also need to be replaced. Thus, in the MREO for a simplified restoration of the certificate and related papers, you need to submit:
1. Passport or a document replacing it, with a note on the place of residence;
2. Certificate of completion of training (driver's examination card) or a certificate from the traffic police confirming the fact of issuing a driver's license;
3. Two color photographs 3, 5x4, 5 cm;
4. Medical certificate of suitability for driving a car of the corresponding category;
5. A certificate from the traffic police that the driver's license has not been withdrawn;
6. Decision of the investigator to initiate a criminal case (if the driver's card was stolen or seized illegally).
