Recovering a lost driver's card is not the easiest thing to do. But if you still lost it for some reason, then you should not postpone its recovery indefinitely. Take action as soon as possible to restore it.
It is necessary
- - passport;
- - a certificate from the traffic police on the fact of issuing a driver's license and passing exams;
- - two photos 3, 5x4, 5;
- - medical certificate.
Instructions
Step 1
Contact the police station if the card has been stolen or illegally seized. Then, after 10 working days, you will be given a decree. It should be noted right away that in order to quickly restore the driver's card, it will be in your interests to initiate a criminal case against criminals. Be sure to indicate in your application that it was theft. If you receive a refusal to initiate a theft case, this will not significantly affect the further restoration of the document.
Step 2
Come to the traffic police department at the place of your registration and take a certificate from them that they did not take your card and driver's license from you. Be sure to make sure in the same office that you do not have any unpaid fines at the moment.
Step 3
Take the necessary documents from the traffic police and boldly go to the MREO. Pay attention to the presence of a medical certificate and see if it has expired. If the deadline has expired, then you need to replace it with a new one as soon as possible. In MREO, for a simplified receipt of a driver's card, you will need to submit the following documents: passport; if it is absent, then the corresponding document that replaces it with the registration of the place of residence; a certificate from the traffic police on the fact of issuing a driver's license and passing exams; two photographs 3, 5x4, 5; medical certificate; a decision to initiate a criminal case (in the event that the card was seized illegally or stolen).
Step 4
Contact the place where your driver card was issued and ask them for an extract from the archive. If it has not been stolen from you, then you will be given a copy of it within a few days. And then contact the traffic police department with her in order to get the original or exchange it. If for some reason you cannot get a copy of the card in the archive, then you will need to re-take exams in theory and practice of driving. After completing them, you will receive a new driver card.
