Car donation is one of the forms of transferring rights to another person. The gift must be issued in accordance with the laws of the Russian Federation. How is it legally correct to donate a car?
Necessary
- - civil passports of the donor and the person to whom the car is presented;

- - vehicle registration certificate;
- - power of attorney for vehicle ownership.
Instructions
Step 1
Agree on all the conditions for donating a car with the person to whom you are giving it. The donation process is legal actions of individuals that are subject to the same consideration as other civil actions in the event of a disputable situation. Protect yourself from them by discussing with the person to whom you are giving the car all the questions related to the donation.
Step 2
Make a donation agreement. In the contract, be sure to indicate the technical characteristics of the car and with a link to a document confirming your ownership of it. You can also indicate the cost of the car, although this is not required.
Step 3
Go to the traffic police registration department, where your car was registered.
Step 4
Deregister the vehicle. To remove the car, you will need to provide the registration authorities with the vehicle passport, civil passport, a notarized donation agreement, a car registration certificate and write an application for deregistration. After that, having paid the state duty and having passed the procedure for inspecting the car, hand over the state numbers and get back the vehicle passport with a mark on the removal of the car from the register.
Step 5
Transfer the vehicle to the person you gave it to.
