After long visits to car dealerships, you finally become the owner of the car. But there are some unforeseen situations in which the best solution is to return the car to the dealership. These include permanent damage to the car or the presence of significant defects in the car.
It is necessary
- - Contract of sale;
- - the official conclusion of the service center.
Instructions
Step 1
Pick up the car from the car dealership in the daytime, this will allow you to more thoroughly and without haste inspect the appearance of the car and check its completeness (availability of special tools, spare parts and operating instructions for the car).
Step 2
You have the right to refuse to fulfill the mutual contract for the purchase and sale of the car and can demand that you return the entire amount paid by you for the car. The term of the claim should not exceed fifteen days from the moment the car was handed over to you by the car dealership.
Step 3
Refer to the Consumer Protection Act if your refund is denied. Moreover, you can demand to replace the car of your choice with the same car or with a car of a different model with the recalculation of the purchase price. Remember that you can only make these claims within two weeks from the date of purchase. If more time has passed, the car can be returned only when a serious defect is noticed. In this case, a special act must be drawn up, an examination carried out and an official conclusion drawn up on it.
Step 4
If you want to return the car to the salon, write a written claim. In the document, indicate that you have noticed such and such manufacturing defects with the correct operation of the machine. If the machine has been repaired several times under warranty, indicate this fact as well. Indicate how many days in total your vehicle was under warranty during the year.
Step 5
Submit your claim by mail using a registered letter with delivery receipt. Attach copies of documents and conclusions from the service center to the letter. The car dealership must meet your requirements within 20 days from the date of receipt of the paper. If you do not receive a response from the car dealership in time, you have the right to go to court.
