When undergoing a medical examination, it is necessary to visit a narcologist and a psychiatrist. Some clinics are licensed for this type of activity and include these specialists in routine examinations. Others do not provide such services. In this case, it is necessary to visit a narcological dispensary, where an analysis will be carried out for the presence of narcotic substances in the body. The next point of stay is a psychiatric dispensary. Here you need to visit a psychiatrist and get a mental health certificate. Citizens liable for military service with health limitations must obtain a certificate from the military registration and enlistment office, which will indicate the article on which there is a restriction to service.
When undergoing a medical examination in a polyclinic, it is better to take a certificate "without restrictions". Otherwise, the rights will state: "without the right to work for hire." This can cause a lot of trouble when applying for a job that involves driving a car for official purposes.
Examination by specialists
In the polyclinic, it is necessary to obtain the opinion of narrow specialists: a surgeon, ophthalmologist, otorhinolaryngologist, neurologist and therapist. Women additionally need a visit to a gynecologist.
In case of existing chronic diseases and / or health restrictions, it does not hurt to take with you certificates from the attending physicians, conclusions of medical examinations, extracts from medical records, an outpatient card. This will shorten the time it takes to go through the examination and prevent unnecessary repeat visits.
People who wear glasses or lenses should come with glasses and / or lenses for examination. In this case, if driving a car or other vehicle without vision correction is impossible, the ophthalmologist will indicate in the certificate “glasses are required”, “lenses are required” or “glasses or lenses are required”. This mark will then be transferred to the driver's license.
The medical certificate is valid for two years with no health restriction and one year with restriction.
