Equipping a car with additional lighting has recently become very popular. This type of tuning does not affect the technical characteristics of the car, but it gives a spectacular look and looks impressive. The lighting can be done both outside and inside the cabin. For this, it is better to use neon, but at home, ordinary LEDs or LED strips of various colors and designs, which can be purchased at a regular radio store, are also suitable.

Instructions

Step 1

Buy a plastic box that is used for electrical wiring (cable duct). In a radio store, buy LEDs of your choice, as well as a resistor with a resistance of about 700 ohms. Or take special neon tubes, which are already a finished product and only require connection.

Step 2

Mark the points on the box where you will place the LEDs, the optimal distance between them is just over 5 centimeters. Solder the resistor to the LEDs, and be sure to check their performance by connecting a battery to them.

Step 3

Place the diodes in the holes and connect them in parallel. Coat the edges of the box with a sealant and cut off the lenses from the LEDs (upper part) with a grinder, otherwise, when the backlight is turned on, not a uniform stream of light will be visible, but dots.

Step 4

Fasten the box to the bottom with clamps, which, in turn, are attached to the body with self-tapping screws. You can do without clamps by fixing the boxes directly to the bottom. Be sure to install a special transformer unit under the hood of the car, to which connect the LED leads.

Step 5

Inside the car, make a separate switch that will be responsible for the operation of the backlight. Install it in any convenient and accessible place. Connect the toggle switch to the transformer wires and connect the resulting circuit to the vehicle's power system.
