Step 1
Drain the coolant first. Only then proceed with the installation of the preheater. Then take hot water with which to flush the entire cooling system.

Check if your engine has a coolant drain valve. If it is not there, then look for a technological plug on the engine, which you can definitely find. It is usually located directly on the engine block. After unscrewing the plug, take a fitting that will fit the hose in its diameter, and on the other side will have a thread so that it can be screwed in. Insert it into the resulting hole in the engine. To prevent the gaskets from falling out during this time, use a heat-resistant silicone sealant. If you have a drain valve, you should unscrew it and then do all the above steps in the same way.
Step 3
Install the pre-heater, then secure it. To do this, connect the heater inlet and the intake point to each other. Make the connection with a hose, and secure with clamps.
Step 4
Then connect the engine to the heater outlet where the hose breaks. In addition, you can use one of the high points of the engine. Then connect the tee using clamps and sealant. Route the hose from the heater to the tee using the shortest route, as kinks can lead to cracks and poor heat delivery. After laying, fix the hose in the heater, and install the other side of it in the engine.
Step 5
Fill the cooling system and then start the engine. Leave it working for 10 minutes. This is necessary in order to achieve good fluid circulation. Then switch off the car.
Step 6
Connect your heater to the mains and try to check its functionality. To do this, you must grab the starting heater from above with your hand, which will make it possible to control the heating of the device.
