Make it a rule to purchase and use only high quality engine oil, fuel, and automotive fluid. Constantly and carefully monitor the condition and cleanliness of the filter. Avoid using gasoline with an octane rating of less than eighty altogether. It can cause irreparable harm and significantly reduce the life of the motor.

Take a very responsible approach to the selection of coolant. If you constantly use low-quality antifreeze, then the engine resource will be reduced by several months. Find and fix problems in the cooling and lubrication systems in a timely manner, as high temperatures guarantee an early and costly breakdown.

Pay special attention to the modes in which the motor is operated. Try to minimize long trips, accompanied by short stops, as they lead to deformation of some constituent parts, such as the timing belt, throttle, distributor element. The wear of the piston part increases, spark plugs become clogged, wires melt.

If possible, try to minimize vehicle operation in city mode that will overload the engine. The most optimal solution is to travel at medium operating modes of the engine, as well as low crankshaft speeds. In this case, the tachometer needle should not exceed the maximum permissible value.

Regularly contact a specialist for diagnostics, repair, maintenance or service of the car. Pay particular attention to the tightness of the power supply systems and the serviceability of the catalytic converter. If repair is required, then purchase only original parts that meet all geometric and mechanical properties.
