Step 1

Purchase a motortester or special diagnostic software. Flush the throttle. To do this, buy a special fluid - carburetor cleaner. Remove Throttle Body - Disconnect the engine linings and the pipe that connects the choke and air filter. Remove the bolts securing the throttle to the engine, disconnect the cable and two hoses. Make sure that no coolant flows out of the latter. Therefore, prepare rags and plugs in advance.

Step 2

Take a can and a tube in your hands, rinse the valve thoroughly. Reassemble everything in reverse order and start the engine by turning the ignition key. Warm up the engine to a temperature of 80 degrees and turn it off. Connect the diagnostic equipment and do the following: go to the "Engine" menu (01), interrogate it for faults (02), if any, delete them (05), then go to the basic settings (04) and press start by group 060 (for electronic damper) or 098 (for mechanical).

Step 3

Then press the button "Adapt" or "Configure", after that the percentages will run on the screen and the inscription "Adaptation OK" will appear. Remember that during this procedure, it is forbidden to touch the gas pedal, therefore, in order to avoid unpleasant situations, carefully monitor this.

Step 4

If the adaptation did not occur, do not worry, first replace the potentiometer and check the motor that opens and closes the damper. Often he simply does not have enough energy, help him - press the tongue, which is connected with the axis. Make sure that the throttle position sensor is not more than five degrees. Otherwise, the adaptation will be successful, but the angle will be wrong. This whole process will take you a few minutes, and as a result, you will receive less fuel consumption and better engine performance.
