Step 1
Remove the dashboard. To complete all work, it is necessary to shoot a torpedo. This is easy to do. It is necessary to unscrew several bolts and nuts in various places of the torpedo. The steering wheel can be removed for convenience. When removing elements (beard, dashboard, ashtray, etc.), do not forget the order of future assembly.
Step 2
Degrease the removed torpedo. For this, you can use ordinary acetone. Remember to wipe the panel thoroughly before degreasing. The surface to be glued must be perfectly clean to avoid dust and dirt lumps. In addition, the material will not be firmly glued, which in the future may lead to its peeling off.
Step 3
It can be glued in several parts or in one piece. If you do not know how to paste over hard-to-reach places or joints with the dashboard, glove compartment, etc., then paste it in several pieces. When wrapping one piece of material, plan ahead how your work will go. Cut out one large piece. One way or another, the pasting must be done gradually.
Step 4
Apply glue to the surface of the torpedo. Use a special brand of glue that you can buy from a car store. Do not apply glue to the entire torpedo. Do everything gradually. Once you've applied the adhesive to the panel, start applying the material. It can also be greased with glue. When gluing, try to smooth out any irregularities. At the same time, dry the glue with a construction hairdryer. To do this, simply direct the air towards the material. The glue will thicken under your supervision and you will be able to smooth out irregularities.
Step 5
Continue pasting. Gradually and slowly, watch out for joints and hard-to-reach places. If you are gluing in several pieces, then make the joints of different pieces of material invisible. The whole procedure of pasting and drying the panel will take several hours.
