Step 3
The material removed in the cabin is unpicked at the seams. Using the resulting "pattern", it is necessary to make patterns. A special sewing machine with a needle is required to sew multiple stitches correctly. The workpieces sewn from the pattern should not have distortions and "bubbles". This requires some skill, especially if sewing by hand. All errors of an incorrectly made cover will be visible after installation in the cabin. It is not at all necessary to be limited only to the replacement of the material itself in the cabin. With the help of special foam inserts, it is possible to change the shape of the seat, making it more comfortable. When tightening the front panel, it should be removed from the passenger compartment, retightened, and then reinstalled. When stretching the ceiling under the fabric, it is possible to change or fix the foam rubber. It will be much easier to drag the interior of the car if you use special tools and fixtures.
