Step 1
If, with an increase in the mileage traveled, the transition between gears is difficult, then this means that it is time to remove and repair the wings. The most "capricious" in this respect is the reverse gear. It is with its inclusion that problems most often arise.
Step 2
In order to carry out refurbishment of the specified unit, the car is placed on the inspection pit, and then the thrust going from the drive to the gearbox is disconnected from below.
Step 3
In order to get to the drive mount, it is necessary to dismantle the cladding on the floor shaft. Then they unscrew: the nut on the shaft of the gear lever and five bolts of its fastening to the body.
Step 4
After removing the rubber boot, the lever is removed together with the base. Immediately, through the opening in the body, the gearshift drive rod is also removed, which was previously disconnected from the gearbox at the very beginning of the repair.
Step 5
At this, the dismantling of the gearshift drive in the gearbox can be considered complete.
