Despite the tightening of fines for tinted car windows, the popularity of tinting remains the same. After all, tinted windows of the car not only give it a stylish look, but also solve many practical issues - they hide passengers from the scorching sun, and things in the cabin from prying eyes. In order for glass tinting to be done efficiently, it is important to observe several conditions.

Step 1
Only tint car windows in a dry and clean environment. Never do tinting on the street, otherwise under the film you will have everything in a speck due to dust and dirt particles that have got under it. If you are tinting in the garage, do a wet cleaning in it beforehand and get rid of unnecessary trash. Turn on a humidifier or air purifier to keep dust from flying around the garage. Lay linoleum on the floor (it can be old, but clean) so that the water from the glass processing flows onto it and it is easier to wipe it off.
Step 2
Make a special stand for cutting tint film. It can be made from small diameter metal pipes. Weld two crossbeams to the two pipes from above (make the stand height according to your height). Pull a sheet of linoleum or polycarbonate over the crossbars. At this makeshift stand, you will lay out and cut the film.
Step 3
Get professional tinting tools. Household knives and scrapers are categorically not suitable for accurate work. The professional tool can be found on specialized sites. You will definitely need a water scraper, forcing, blades, an automatic spray gun, a hair dryer for forming a film (you can replace it with a powerful construction hair dryer). Since such a tool is very expensive, you can purchase a special toning kit: the tool will be slightly worse in quality, but cheaper.
Step 4
Choose a tint film. Don't skimp on film. Cheap Chinese material will begin to bump in a couple of months, and may not survive the winter at all. Films of American manufacturers are considered the most wear-resistant and durable. Even the usual black tint combines a lot of functions: protection against fading, optical transparency, protection from sunlight. You just have to choose the color of the film, the light transmission capacity and the intended purpose. After all, films are not just black, but, for example, colorless, which are glued to tint or glass and protect passengers from ultraviolet radiation. Or impact-resistant films that prevent the glass from breaking and peeling off on impact.
