- - strong twine or piece of wire wrapped in vinyl sheath;
- - nylon cord with a diameter of 3 mm;
- - needle and strong thread;
- - a set of automotive tools.
Instructions
Step 1
Remove the set of protective covers for the seats of your VAZ model from the factory packaging. Read the instructions attached to the kit and determine the purpose of each of its elements.
Step 2
Spread out the covers on a flat surface and pay attention to the material from which the fixing ties are made. If it is not strong enough, remove the standard tightenings and replace them with nylon twine, or a piece of vinyl braided wire.
Step 3
By installing new secure clips, you distribute your efforts evenly over the entire surface of the cover when tightening it and protect the material from tearing. Instead of the ribbons located at the edges of the product, insert and sew a nylon cord with a diameter of 3 mm, having bought it from a specialized fishing store.
Step 4
Do not try to put on and secure products without removing the seats from your car. Please note that if you want to speed up the process, you are subjecting the new protectors to premature wear. The material on the covers that do not fit tightly to the seats will constantly get confused, crumpled and quickly deteriorate.
Step 5
After unscrewing the fasteners, dismantle the seats from the car and put on new protective covers. Eliminating the deformation of products during operation, securely fix them on the seats of the car, tightly tightening the straps reinforced by you. Check all joints carefully, put the seats in their places and fasten them with bolts and nuts.
Step 6
If you have purchased leather covers for your Lada, use them with extreme caution. Remember that excessive force can rupture or deform expensive material. Preventing undesirable consequences, do not be lazy and sew vertical zippers on the backs of leather cases for quick and safe fixation of products.
