It is difficult to say why the total percentage has decreased compared to last year, but one thing remains unshakable - Russians continue to trust the Korean manufacturer and are not afraid to invest in the purchase of a new vehicle of this particular brand.
Hyundai car brands are among the most sought-after models to buy in the first quarter of 2019. In our list, cars from this Korean manufacturer took honorable second and third places. Purchases of the Hyundai Creta crossover at the beginning of this year amounted to a rather impressive figure of 16, 8 thousand models. The increase in purchases of this brand in comparison with last year was 6%. Hyundai Solaris, which was bought14, 2 thousand inhabitants of our country, is in third place in popularity. However, this year sales of this brand have decreased by 2%.
Top 5 German and French models
The Russians have shown considerable interest in the purchase of the German Volkswagen Polo sedan. They preferred to purchase it in 11, 8 thousand cases. By analogy with the statistics of last year, sales of a vehicle from a well-known brand increased by 2%. This data puts the Volkswagen Polo in fourth place in our ranking.
