Instructions

Step 1

First, open the hood. Pay attention to the headlamp. You will see that it is attached with two bolts and one nut. Bolts secure the headlight from above and a nut secures it to the body from the inside. Using a 13 key, unscrew all fasteners. Be careful, the bolts and nut are small and can be lost. It is recommended to put them in an empty box.

Step 2

Then carefully remove the headlamp from the seat. It has a cover that protects the inside of the headlight from dirt and dust. Turn it counterclockwise. The roof should be pulled out without effort.

Step 3

Next, notice the metal spring clip. It must be carefully folded back. Metal wires hold the lamp firmly together with the terminal. Disconnect the terminal that fits the lamp. Now you can easily remove it. Please note that you can only hold the object of illumination by the metal case. Otherwise, it will quickly fail.

Step 4

Now you can put a new bulb inside the headlight. Fasten the spring holder well. The lamp should fit well in the headlight housing. Only then can you proceed to the installation of the protective cover. Now you can refit the headlight unit. Tighten the nut and two bolts well. Otherwise, the headlight will dangle when driving on a bad road.

Step 5

After you have replaced the lamp, be sure to make the light adjustments. It is recommended to drive the car onto a special stand for this purpose. If this is not possible, then put the car against the wall. Please note that the area near the wall must be flat. This should be done at night. Please note that there are two gears on the headlight housing. Use a screwdriver to adjust the direction of the light flow. New lamps should not dazzle oncoming drivers.
