Step 1
The best way to change the light bulb is in the garage. If not, then drive the car under some kind of canopy. This will prevent moisture, dust or dirt from entering the headlights. You can also cover your work area with a special car blanket or plastic wrap.

Open the hood and disconnect the negative terminal from the battery. This is done in order to avoid a short circuit in the vehicle's on-board system.

Remove the radiator grill. On most vehicles, it attaches to the edges of the headlights and blocks them. Find all the screws and unscrew them. When doing this, mark the location of each bolt.
Step 5
Locate the two rubber plugs on the back. To replace the low beam bulb, you must disconnect the plug, which is located closer to the center of the car. As a rule, it is removed with light effort. On some models, these plugs can be fixed with a pin or bolt. In this case, it is necessary to remove the pin or unscrew the bolt.
Step 6
There is a socket with a light bulb under the plug. Find the pads of wires attached to it. Unplug them carefully and remove them from the connector.

Turn the bulb holder counterclockwise until it clicks. Remove the cartridge from the recess. If it is too deep, then use special tongs with long blades.
