The law is dedicated to the establishment of rules that relate to the possibility of movement of a robotic vehicle without a driver on the roads of the state of Nevada.
This event means that Nevada became the first state to officially agree to the existence of robotic vehicles. It should be noted that the first license was received by none other than Google.
Everyone is accustomed to the fact that Google is the leader on the Internet among search engines, and, of course, everyone, at least once, has used the search engine of the same name on the Internet. However, the company has also created a robotic vehicle that is able to move along the road without the participation of the driver. This unique car was nicknamed "Googlemobile" (of course, in honor of its creators).
In order to obtain a license for testing Google Mobile, the company had to carry out a huge and painstaking work. Thus, the company's specialists assessed the functionality of all systems of the car, ensured the safety of passengers while driving, and developed a special mechanism for reporting accidents on the road. At the same time, the personnel who will serve the new type of transport have also been trained.
The news that Google was licensed was not, in fact, a surprise. The thing is that the ToyotaPrius robo-car has become one of the best and most relevant inventions in this area.
